History: In early January 2006, I was out taking a walk at my Grandpa's ranch, looking at all of his old, rotting cars. I went on to stumble across this 89' Tempo in a rotting, leaking, open garage on the side of the old guest house. It was in very bad condition, and was in need of two new doors (taken off a 90' Topaz), a new ignition system and a new battery and set of tires. After 3/4 months, it ran. And in about 5/6 months, was in mint condition. My Grandpa gave it to me when he saw me interested in it.

Hi, i'm Zach & i'm new to this site. I had an 88 AWD Tempo with the options power locks, windows, lumbar/ seats, flip-up moonroof (stock), premium maroon upholstery on door panels & seats, extra thick & soft carpet, chrome inteior pkg.,(door lock knobs, & handles, & shifter button. Faux wood grain across dash & doors. It also had a white exteior with an ALL WHEEL DRIVE badge on the trunk. But then the brakes went out & i wrecked it, so i had it sent to the crushers. But being aware of how rare they are, i stripped off ALL the components that made it all wheel drive. I still have them, so if or you or any body else wants to buy them let me know @ zachwho@hotmail.com or @ www.myspace.com/cadillaczach02

I would love to find an AWD. But they are of a rare breed around here. I have seen one in my years and it was toast. It was rotten from front to back and the owner had no intention of selling it. I wish that at least I could have bought it for the AWD system. Oh well.
