Here's some pics:
This is the side of the car. If you look closely, you can see where the previous owner had a big piece of tape put over the hole in the passenger door.
My beautiful yellowed headlights. The top of the grill is cracked, but it's still held on pretty good.
The camera's focus is being a piece of crap in this pic. The puddle is from the rain water running off the car. Under the car is an old dried puddle of oil and antifreeze from the valve cover gasket and the radiator. Both have been replaced.
Here's the back half of the car, you can't even tell that there is some traded paint on the rear door from the garage door frame that I hit twice. No damage to the vehicle at all. This car's tough.
The saddest Tempo engine in existance. This thing is dirtier than anything I've ever seen. I was going to clean it on the day that the automatic seat belt on the driver side screwed up. On the right you can see some orange cables, those were the hotwire cables for the fan since the fan relay in the multifunction box was dead, I had it fixed since then.
More dirtiness here. I had the air, oil, and fuel filters changed the first week that I had it, as well as the valve cover gasket which leaked all over the engine. A vacuum hose was fossilized and fell apart so I had to replace it. The PCV valve wasn't good so it was replaced. The radiator reservoir (not the overflow to you non car people) cracked, the fan on it was dead, the relay for the fan was dead, the starter failed, the new one had a dirty contact (it was from a junk yard) which caused it to not start once in a while, that worked itself out. Also I had the oil changed, got an engine flush, and had the power steering fluid (which was dark brown instead of red) changed.
Here you can see the battery clamp that I hooked to the negative terminal when the car was running for the fan so that the engine didn't overheat due to the, since repaired, multifunction box.
Another pic of the engine, here you can really see the new vacuum hose, it's black the other ones are brown due to dirt.
And that's my Tempo.
